Job Brief
We are seeking a leadership-driven and knowledgeable Head of HR to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a wealth of HR industry experience from administrative to recruitment to leadership. The focus of the role will be to lead all functions of the HR department and drive forward new processes and improvements to the company's HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze the current processes and procedures for the HR department.
- Develop and implement improvements to processes or new policies and implement them within the department.
- Manage team members within the HR department, ensuring career progression and growth, holding quarterly reviews with HRBP’s and administrators.
- Assist with the implementation of new software for the HR department.
- Manage the department budget and complete financial forecasts for the department.
- Produce productivity reports, financial reports, etc, for senior executives.
- Ensure the effective rollout of new department initiatives.
- Oversee various functions of the department, including hiring, employee management, program implementation, company turnover, etc.
- Liaise with department managers to understand and assist with challenges they face regarding staff retention, employee wellness, and happiness, etc.
- Attend various conferences and functions to remain up to date with industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience within an HR-focused role
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience
- CIPD certification would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to decision make and think critically
- Able to work as part of a team and achieve team goals and targets
- Proficient in the use of computers and their software, including ATS and CRM systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
