Job brief
We are seeking a talented guitarist to join our team and attend events, practice sessions, and PR events. The ideal candidate must be able to experiment with new music styles and equipment, as well as work independently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and perform for live audiences.
- Attend rehearsals and studio sessions in a timely manner.
- Attend all public relations events and maintain an appropriate public image and online presence.
- Tuning guitar and maintaining all its related equipment.
- Take part in the recording sessions.
- Practice on a regular basis.
- Practice on your own prior to rehearsals and studio sessions.
- Learn songs, melodies, and practice vocals when required.
- Welcome feedback, as well as offer helpful recommendations.
- Experiment with different types of guitar and genres, and improve your improvisation skills.
- Network with industry professionals and other musicians.
- Prepare for and attend auditions.
Requirements
- Formal guitar training
- 3+ years of professional guitar playing
- Fluent in more than one instrument will be a plus
- Deep understanding of practical guitar theory
- Passionate about music
- Can work alone and in teams
- Willing to accept feedback
