Responsibilities
- Create and put into action business strategies that support the aims and goals of the firm. Monitor and manage budgets, financial statements, and performance metrics to ensure business profitability.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize operations. Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to drive business success.
- Create and execute guidelines and protocols that guarantee adherence to lawful and regulatory obligations.
- Manage staffing, training, and performance of employees to ensure productivity and quality of work.
- Identify and mitigate risks to business operations and develop contingency plans to minimize impact.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in general and operations management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of business principles, financial management, and operations management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals and objectives
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and develop policies and procedures that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in the use of various business management software, including Microsoft Office.
