Job brief

Our organization is seeking a Fraud Investigator to join our team and assist in identifying and preventing any future instances of fraudulent activity. The ideal Fraud Investigator candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong critical thinking skills to analyze negative financial trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working relationship with financial institutions, law enforcement, and other organizations.
• Observe trends to identify any possible instances of fraudulent activity.
• Interviewing alleged offenders.
• Create and implement processes to mitigate instances of fraud.

Requirements

• Maintain certification as either Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator
• 1-3 years’ experience in the field
• Maintain current licensure per the state’s standards
• Associate degree in accounting, criminal justice, or fraud management; Bachelor’s degree preferred
