We are seeking an experienced Fashion Editor to produce compelling fashion-related content regarding the latest trends, dressing advice, and news from the industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain good relationships with fashion designers and other related professionals such as photographers in the industry.
Collaborate with fashion designers, models, and photographers for photoshoots.
Coordinate with a team of writers and experts in fashion to craft unique content.
Proofreading articles and validating content produced by writers and creators.
Monitor and administer the layout of the website, magazine, or newspaper.
Manage budgets and expenditures.
Undertake periodic visits to retail shops to evaluate what products are available.
Strong understanding of current and future fashion trends.
Represent the brand at fashion shows and other events.

Requirements

A fashion, journalism, or related field degree
x+ years of reporting fashion experience for a magazine or online platform
Above-average skills in design software in Photoshop and other industry software
Passion for fashion
Phenomenal written and communicative skills
Time management skills and organized personality
Great analytical thinking
