Job brief
We are seeking a detail-orientated, results-driven, and Executive Recruiting Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent background in research with a specialty in recruitment and HR. The focus of the role will be to deliver outstanding quality research to the recruitment team to identify areas for improvement and keep the business up to date with leading trends and technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to thoroughly understand the current recruitment process and the procedures they have adapted.
- Liaise with department managers to discuss the process and how it is working for their hiring needs.
- Identify patterns in things that are not working.
- Gather data and analyze it to identify recurring trends.
- Identify issues within the current recruitment process and implement procedures and ideas to better improve the issues taking place.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment plans from the research conducted.
- Continually research and identify new and up-and-coming trends, practices, and technology that will assist the business with their recruitment efforts and ensure the business stays up to date with industry standards.
- Sit in on interviews and take part in onboarding and inductions of new employees and monitor those sessions to discover if the process can be updated or improved on.
- Hold regular meetings with other executives to gain feedback on new initiatives that have been put in place.
- Attend feedback sessions with new hires to gain clarity on their overall experience from hire to start.
- Ensure both internal and external research is completed to gather a big picture of the current recruitment process, efforts, and issues.
- Produce reports, presentations, and graphs to showcase the improvements that have been implemented and the results of the research conducted.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, or other related field, or equivalent work experience and education
- Demonstrated experience working in a research-laden role
- Experience using recruitment databases and or ATS systems or other HR business software
- Good knowledge of social media activities and networking and how it can assist with recruitment efforts
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organizational abilities and able to manage various projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to independently research without supervision
- Demonstrated experience in producing reports
- Excellent influencing abilities
- Proficient with all Microsoft packages including, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Confident talking to large groups of people and running conferences and workshops as required
- Able to engage with people of all levels from directors to the front line staff
