Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Pastor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of theology, demonstrated leadership skills, and a passion for serving and supporting the local church. The focus of the role is to provide strategic leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, and work closely with the Senior Pastor to achieve the vision and goals of the church.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the smooth running of the church.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the church, including staff management, finance, facilities, and programs.
- Work closely with the Senior Pastor to develop and implement the vision and goals of the church.
- Provide pastoral care and support to the congregation and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other churches.
- Provide oversight for the planning and execution of church events and activities.
- Develop and implement discipleship and leadership training programs.
- Participate in regular meetings with staff and leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in theology, divinity, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a church
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
- Possessing excellent abilities to connect with others and establish long-term relationships
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically
- Capability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
