Our company is looking for a permanent full-time Medical Esthetician who is an energetic and outcome-oriented person and who is ready to take on a leadership role in helping to provide patients with exceptional care. Responsibilities
- Perform treatments, including, but not limited to PRP, Laser Hair Removal, Photofacials, Skin Tightening, Skin Resurfacing, and Chemical Peels, in accordance with current certifications independently and/or under the guidance of the attending physician.
- Conduct consultations and skin analyses; assess the area(s) of concern for the client. Create and recommend an appropriate treatment plan and products.
- Fully understand services offered – scope of treatment, pre- and post-operative care.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge – the ability to recommend products, outline routine for patients, home care, ingredients, benefits, etc.
- Complete required intake information, and notes, maintain accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and maintain the cleanliness of the work area and all equipment used.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge on current trends, issues, and best practices in relation to cosmetic treatments and laser therapies.
Requirements
- Must be a certified Medical Esthetician from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience
- Preferred but not necessary experience with the following treatments: Microneedling, Laser Hair Removal, IPL Photofacial, Pixel Resurfacing, RF Microneedling, Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Tinting & Waxing, Skin Tightening, Thermocoagulation, Relaxation Massage, Dermaplaning, and Hydrafacial
- Familiarity with Injectables
- Professionalism and attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent customer and communication skills with the ability to build a strong client base
- Experience in a spa and/or customer service environment and/or sales as an asset
