We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and professional ER Nurse to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be adept at working in a pressurized and fast-paced environment. The role's key focus is to provide accurate assessment skills, high-level care, and treatment to patients and identify patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate assessments appropriate for the age of the patient.
- Perform and document ongoing assessments, including observation, physical exams, laboratory/tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
- Participate in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as shown by care planning, to achieve optimal patient treatment and results.
- Implement, review, and revise care plans according to changes noted in the patient’s status.
- Implement and execute a plan of care according to identified physical and psychological needs.
- Prioritize own workload in line with patient needs.
- Coordinate and document appropriate discharge notes, planning, and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
- Share knowledge and act as a professional resource to other members of the health care team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Achieve a passing score on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) or relevant exam for your country or state
- Active Nursing license as required in your country/state
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong work prioritization skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Resilient to working in a high pressured and fast-paced working environment
