Job brief

We are seeking and knowledgeable, dedicated, and focused Entrepreneur to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a savvy business mind and be a thrill seeker when it comes to exploring new and exciting business opportunities. The focus of the role will be to set up and manage new business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent market research and analysis into the desired business sector.
• Research competitor information, and statistics, and analyze various aspects of the information.
• Make critical decisions on whether the start-up is worthwhile using various data sources.
• Provide various projections for the start-up/business venture, using accurate forecasting models based on data and research.
• Develop effective business plans along with profit and loss guides.
• Take care of all aspects of business setup, including company registration/setting up of bank accounts, etc.
• Ensure the business is performing in line with the local laws and regulations.
• Assist with the hiring and retention of staff for the new venture.
• Assist with the business growth goals, set KPIs and SLA’s and work closely with the business heads to ensure the venture brings profit and performance.
• Prepare regular forecasts and reports on various ventures assigned to you.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or above
• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a similar field would be an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated start-up experience
• Good business acumen
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office platforms
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
• Able to understand and work in line with SLA’s and KPIs
