Job brief

We are seeking a creative, detail orientated Embedded Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in software development, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively embed software into existing systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans and various scenarios along with procedures for new software that is being developed within the department to ensure its efficacy.
• Identify various project risks and recommend procedures to minimize those risks.
• Develop and implement software testing by using manual or automated programs and various testing methods.
• Identify, document, and report problems and defects with software functionality and keep it on file for future use.
• Provide professional feedback to the software development team and stakeholders regarding usability, functionality, and stability.
• Continuously develops skills by researching and keeping up to date on new industry trends, developments, and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Engineering or other related fields, or equivalent work experience and education
• Good knowledge of programming languages
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise information
• Good team working abilities, to collaborate and work on various projects within a team setting
• Good analytical skills with the ability to conduct bug fixes and identify issues in code etc
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds, cultures, and seniority
• Able to work independently when required and can work from own initiative
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
• Excellent attention to detail
