Job brief
We need an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team! As our Electrical Estimator, you would be charged with the responsibility of reviewing and pricing our electrical systems to ensure quality and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing plans for construction and electrical systems to determine the materials needed to complete the project.
- Research and prepare a budget and timeframe needed to complete the project.
- If it appears a project would be profitable for the company, prepare and submit competitive bids.
Requirements
- Past experience in the electrical field is required, while a degree in construction management or a related field can be helpful
- AACE or ASPE certifications are desirable
- Must possess a highly analytical mind and have strong mathematical skills
- Must be able to communicate well with other team members, as well as clients
- Must maintain an accurate database of information regarding projects, pricing, clients, and vendors
- Must be highly motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills
