Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Document Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and organizing various types of documents, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role will involve creating, reviewing, updating, and storing documents, as well as ensuring that all company documents are up to date, organized, and easily accessible.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a document control system to ensure all company documents are stored and tracked appropriately.
- Review and update existing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all documents are properly labeled, versioned, and stored according to company standards.
- Work closely with various teams to ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Provide training and support to other team members on the document control system and best practices for document management.
- Implement and maintain a system for archiving old documents.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to document control procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in document control, record keeping, or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to operate autonomously and handle numerous assignments concurrently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms and document management software
- Familiarity with industry-standard document control and record-keeping practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
