Diversity Recruiter job brief
We are seeking an experienced Diversity Recruiter to join our team. As our Diversity Recruiter, you will be responsible for creating and implementing diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds and build our diverse workforce. You will work closely with our HR team and departmental managers to ensure that we have a diverse and inclusive workforce that fosters a culture of belonging.
Diversity Recruiter responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective diversity recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of talent across all levels and departments of the organization.
- Utilize creative sourcing methods to identify diverse candidates and build a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and identify top candidates that fit our diversity and inclusion goals.
- Work with the HR team to develop recruitment materials and messaging that promote our diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Attend virtual and in-person recruiting events that target diverse candidate pools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with diversity and inclusion organizations to increase our organization's visibility and attract diverse candidates.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the success of diversity recruitment initiatives and make data-driven decisions to continually improve diversity hiring efforts.
- Develop diversity and inclusion training programs for hiring teams to enhance their ability to source, assess, and select diverse candidates.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in diversity recruiting
- Experience with diversity and inclusion best practices and strategies
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations related to diversity recruitment
- Ability to develop and implement successful diversity recruitment strategies
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to assess job requirements and develop diverse candidate pools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable with technology and utilizing various sourcing tools and databases
