Job brief
We are looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Manager to design policies that promote diversity in the workplace, protect minorities, and address harassment issues. The responsibilities also include training HR and hiring managers, and updating job descriptions to make sure they do not use discriminatory language.
Responsibilities
- Train hiring managers and HR employees on how to manage, select, retain, and evaluate workers of diverse backgrounds.
- Oversee all communication channels to ensure the use of non-discriminatory language.
- Maintain compliance with national and local regulations on equity and diversity.
- Create company policies that reinforce diversity in the workplace and address harassment, as well as protect women and minorities.
- Evaluate job descriptions to ensure criteria are strictly work-related.
- Suggest benefits that serve all workers.
- Ensure all voices in the organization are heard.
- Set up training to increase employee communication abilities and team spirit.
- Track diversity indicators.
- Represent the organization at career events such as job fairs, company-hosted recruitment expo, and more.
Requirements
- 2+ year experience with designing and managing anti-discrimination policies
- Thorough knowledge of national and local labor laws
- Participate in diversity and inclusion seminars periodically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
