Job brief

We are seeking a disc jockey to play live on air for our channel and at events hosted by the company. The ideal candidate would be someone who is creative, in love with music, and can mix playlists within deadlines.

Responsibilities

Accepting music requests and improvising as well as engaging with listeners.
Ensure that music and advertisements are played within the planned schedule.
Inform listeners of traffic, weather, and breaking news.
Stay engaged online such as on social media and interact with followers.
Evaluate the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and playlists.
Playing and mixing music at company events.
Host on-air competitions.
Interview guests and prepare questions.
Make presentations and other assigned work on-air such as reading out advertisements.
Keep up to date on music trends.
Able to meet deadlines of mixing music and crafting catchy playlists.
Choose music that appeals to your audience's preferences as well as the venue's music policy.

Requirements

4+ years of DJ experience
Bachelor’s in Radio or related field would be advantageous
Strong communication and presentation skills
Can empathize with listeners
Aware of current trends and world news
