Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the company brand by executing strategy and logistics to support organizational initiatives.
- Create communication strategies for employees, sponsors, and partners.
- Develop and execute communication plans for crises, issues, and emergencies.
- Maintain relations with clients as a company representative.
- Oversee and lead staff in the composition of emails and press releases.
- Operate as a spokesperson during events and media correspondence.
- Plan frequency of channel communications.
- Craft compelling narratives regarding the company and its initiatives.
- Manage Public Relations calendar.
- Train employees in preferred corporate linguistic terms such as creating a stylebook.
- Head the process of the distribution of the company’s annual reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, PR, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in communication
- Fantastic storytelling skills
- Engage in productive disagreements and promote openness and coordination
- Proven ability to work effectively with media
- Leadership skills and good business acumen
