Job brief
We are seeking to hire a full-time Construction Foreman whose role will be to oversee construction projects to completion, offering assistance with labor, planning, material procurement, etc.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a construction project from planning to implementation.
- Allocate resources and personnel for assigned projects.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
- Report on job progress to Project Manager.
- Preparing and maintaining safety records and conducting regular site inspections, and monitoring site safety.
- Monitor and ensure deadlines are met and the project schedule is being followed.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in construction management
- Knowledge of the safe and effective operation of various tools and equipment
- Must be comfortable working in any weather condition
- Ability to work in a team and assist on Site Issues
- Easily decipher blueprints, renderings, and contractual documentation
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to self-motivate under minimum supervision in the office and on-field assignments
- Ability to work in a team, demonstrating leadership and organizational capabilities
- Effectively communicate both verbal and written
- Valid driver’s license
