Job brief
We are looking to hire a dedicated Construction Assistant. You will be responsible for aiding our Construction Managers in overseeing the completion of several construction projects by completing a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Research any needed information to complete competitive bids.
- Aid managers with client and employee communication and scheduling as needed.
- Help coordinate employee schedules and time clocks.
- Ensure our builders have all the supplies they need to complete a project.
- Order and invoice suppliers as needed.
- Help coordinate subcontractors as needed.
- Perform basic office and administrative duties.
- Aid with all other tasks as instructed by the Manager.
Requirements
- Must possess a High School degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or as a project assistant is strongly desired
- Must be physically capable of aiding with construction as needed
- Must be able and willing to provide a variety of office tasks
- Must be incredibly organized and hard-working
- Must possess strong research and communication skills
- Must possess a keenly analytical mind
- Must be a strong team player
