Job brief
We are looking for a Compliance Manager to work with our compliance team under the legal department. The ideal candidate would be a professional and diligent manager responsible for ensuring business activities comply with laws and other rules and standards. The candidate must also have a strong dedication to the job, deep industry knowledge, and be a quality communicator.
Responsibilities
- Craft company policies, regulations, and bylaws.
- Monitor that all business procedures, processes, and activities are in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop processes to manage instances in which the company or its employees have violated rules.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding the rules that departments are to follow.
- Intermittently perform reviews on the company and employees’ actions to determine whether violations have occurred.
- Write and distribute documents to help educate employees regarding rules they must follow or new rule changes they should be aware of.
- Answer any client and employee who has questions regarding rules, laws, or regulations.
- Lead training sessions on compliance laws for employees.
- Work in a team with other compliance managers in implementing many of the responsibilities above.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Law or a Business degree (Law is preferred)
- 4 years of experience in Compliance management
- Proficient knowledge of industry rules and processes
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Outstanding communication capabilities
