We are searching for an ambitious and competent Commercial Manager to join our team! You'll be in charge of leading our commercial team and overseeing all of our commercial activities as the commercial manager. Commercial Managers manage a company's business development initiatives. They work on everything from building advertising and growth tactics and campaigns to securing new client deals.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer connections, generating contract extension possibilities.
- Submit proposals for new projects and negotiate contract conditions.
- Help the finance staff work with sales to arrange the collection of unpaid debts from clients.
- Developing, protecting, or upgrading firm procedures, regulations, or policies in a strategic manner.
- Creating a business strategy and project marketing direction.
- Commercial risk identification and management.
- Looking for new business opportunities.
- Maintain statistics for the respective trades and examine trends.
- Responsible for managing commercial operations, such as increasing volume and guiding the team to meet volume targets and address commercial challenges.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is required
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Commercial Manager in the Shipping Line industry
- Positive attitude, good planning, and the capacity to think out of the box
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Capability to operate in a team setting
- Leadership ability combined with a high level of self-motivation
