Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized patient care and making evidence-based recommendations to improve patient outcomes. The role requires a CNS with strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and expertise in their chosen specialty.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to ensure optimal patient care.
• Trains and educates other nursing staff on best practices in patient care and management.
• Conducts assessments, diagnoses, and prescribes treatments for patients within the scope of their specialization.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments, trends, research findings, and technologies in the nursing field.
• Conduct research studies and analyze results to identify opportunities for improving patient care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a clinical nurse specialist with at least 3 years of working experience in a busy hospital environment
• A degree in nursing and a specialized certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills will be essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, educate and work collaboratively with nursing staff, other healthcare professionals as well as patients from diverse backgrounds
• Sound judgment and critical thinking skills in dealing with complex patient care situations
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of EMR and proficiency in technology usage in healthcare
