Job brief
We are seeking a professional, detail-focused Clinical Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate must be an effective administrator with a strong background in the healthcare industry. The role's main focus is to provide administrative, coordination, and management support to the clinic and its various functions.
Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee the daily functions of the clinic.
- Management of staff schedules and rota’s, always ensuring proper cover.
- Liaise with various departments to complete specific tasks such as supply ordering, inventory, or staff scheduling.
- Assist with the scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments and services for each department.
- Oversee patient care and services offered and ensure they are in line with company SLAs and KPIs.
- Ensure the right care gets to the right patient.
- Oversee the insurance verification process where applicable.
- Keep patient and service information up to date, both hard copy and electronic.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to other team members where needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree in healthcare, business administration, or healthcare administration
- Two years of previous experience within a healthcare administrative role would be an advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical functions and administration procedures
- Effective training and mentoring skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time-keeping skills
- Highly organized.
- Ability to prioritize own workload effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of EMR systems and other computer systems such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to work incredibly well under pressure, to agreed deadlines and time frames
