Job Brief
We are currently searching for a Church Administrator to join our team and lead the daily operations of our faith-based organization. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about working in a religious environment.
As the Church Administrator, you will manage budgets, supervise staff, coordinate events, and maintain the church facility. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all church activities and services are properly coordinated and executed.
The successful candidate will have experience managing budgets and personnel and excellent organizational and communication skills. Additionally, a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of a faith-based organization is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the church's day-to-day operations, including budget management, financial reporting, and facilities management.
- Supervise and manage church staff, including administrative personnel, maintenance staff, and volunteers.
- Plan and coordinate events and activities, including worship services, meetings, and special events.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to church operations, including financial records, membership records, and building maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including tax laws and building codes.
- Work with the church leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance church operations and promote growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in church administration or a related field
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and members
- Understanding of the legal and financial aspects of managing a church
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of the church
