Our company is looking for a passionate and patient Child Care Provider to join our team! The ideal candidate should have experience in providing child care services, with excellent communication and organizational skills. The primary focus of the role is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the safety of children under the care of the child care center.
• Prepare and provide age-appropriate activities and educational programs for the children.
• Assist children with their daily activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, and napping.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and following health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers to address any concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance records, meal counts, and incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service, with a friendly and positive attitude towards children and parents.
• Ensure adherence to all laws and regulations pertaining to child care services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of one year of experience in a child care environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children and parents
• Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Capability to preserve the confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it tactfully and discreetly
• Capability to pass a drug test and background check
• Basic knowledge of child development and safety procedures
