Chief Construction Officer job description

Job brief

We are in search of a highly skilled and organized Chief Construction Officer/Manager to oversee the construction of our clients' projects which could include residential and commercial buildings, waterways, bridges, roadways, etc.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to conclude and align the scope of a project and the needed requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to create an accurate budget and timeframe in which the project can be created.
• Be the main point of communication between clients and engineers in determining all the specifics of each build.
• Oversee the construction of each project and coordinate the building, delivery of supplies, placement of workforce, hiring of subcontractors, etc.
• Ensure each project is completed on within the deadline and the set budget, and meets all local codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or related field, as well as any required state licensing
• Must display a strong working knowledge of common construction techniques
• Must be a clear, concise communicator
• Must be a motivated, hard-working individual who thrives under tight deadlines
• Must possess a natural leader who is able to motivate those working under them
• Must be able to effectively and efficiently multitask
