Responsibilities
- Perform cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and account for all transactions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and friendly service.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and following established merchandising standards.
- Resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with product information and promotions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including security protocols and cash handling policies.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting your fellow team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant customer service experience, including cashier experience, is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills, including the ability to make change
- Ability to handle and manipulate cash and other forms of payment with accuracy
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
