Job brief
We are seeking a detail-focused, service-oriented, and knowledgeable Broker to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial brokerage and be adept at developing strong and lasting relationships with clients, whilst providing professional and solid advice based on the clients' needs. The key focus of the role will be to liaise with both clients and financial institutions to facilitate deals between them in investments, real estate, or insurance.
Responsibilities
- Building lasting, trusting relationships with clients.
- Negotiating deals, prices, and service inclusions with clients.
- Closing deals and facilitating any relevant information.
- Analyzing market data and market trends to identify possibilities.
- Efficiently processing sales transactions and keeping clients informed.
- Demonstrating a totally comprehensive understanding of the company's products or services and ensuring clients are advised of suitable products for them.
- Building an effective market network to attract new potential clients.
Requirements
- Finance or banking-related qualification relevant to the country or state you live in, for example, C-map 1,2,3, or Producers license
- Brokers license issued by the state or city you work in
- 1-2 years’ experience in a sales or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment with an ever-changing market
- Excellent sales techniques and ability to consult with clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
