Job brief
We are seeking a passionate, focused, and service-driven Aviation Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in sales and account management, preferably within the aviation or manufacturing industry, along with having excellent rapport-building skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. The role's focus will be to engage with various types of industry clients, including private, corporate, and national, to assist them with purchasing aviation equipment to improve their operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and build a solid pipeline of potential clients to contact regarding the sale of aviation equipment.
- Connect with potential clients via phone, email, and networking events.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs for equipment.
- Ensure that all recommendations made suit the client and their business.
- Engage with clients and build lasting relationships to maximize sales from each account.
- Keep current clients warm and up-sell and cross-sell relevant products where required.
- Use an internal CRM system to manage client orders, pipelines and details to ensure they are kept up-to-date.
- Liaise with suppliers and various departments to ensure timely delivery of customers' orders.
- Continually meet targets, KPI’s and sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Travel to meet clients when required.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree or above in Business or related field
- 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role in a related industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to effectively build rapport with clients
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding targets and KPI’s in a previous role
- Confident and personable in character
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills with prior experience in using a CRM system
