Aviation Planning Analyst job description

Job brief

We are seeking a detail-orientated, service-focused Aviation Planning Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, along with well-developed negotiation abilities! The focus of the role is to actively build and plan the travel distribution network and analyze data and results.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and plan travel distribution networks.
• Promote awareness of the airline and services available from the airport(s)
• Develop and maintain effective relationships within the travel distribution network.
• Ensure existing and new air routes perform well and make analyses and reports of the performance.
• Encourage new routes to be developed and launched to best serve the customer base.
• Develop and implement effective content for social media marketing as required.
• Collaborate with various airlines to promote their routes and services.
• Provide assistance regarding income modeling and scenario planning.
• Evaluate financial proposals.
• Any other analysis and reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, marketing, communications, or other related field
• 2 Years’ experience in a similar role with a focus on analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of the aviation industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good knowledge of computer programs
• Excellent eye for detail with demonstrated analytical abilities
• Good problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Passionate and service-focused
