Job brief
We are seeking a detail-focused, organized, and professional Associate Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing and ensuring quality from administrative and assistant personnel within a similar organization. The key focus of the role will be to oversee, support, and ensure the highest level of productivity from the company’s business support team, including administrators, assistants, and other personnel as deemed fitting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that orders to subordinates are given in a timely manner, ensuring tasks as distributed equally, and to the correct personnel to ensure the highest possible results and productivity.
- Organize and schedule various meetings and presentations along with regular training programs to assist with the development of the administrative team.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training, and development of new hires for the department whilst working with other managers to ascertain and identify staffing needs within the business.
- Takes responsibility for client service levels, ensuring the level of service provided is in line with the business standards and ensures complete client satisfaction by resolving queries, disputes, or complaints in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the quality department to assist with improving the quality of work and levels of productivity within the team.
- Make suggestions and develop innovative solutions to improve service, quality, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree or above in Business Administration, or related field or vocational qualification and relevant experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience within an administrative role
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising or managing other team members or departments
- Good leadership skills and ability to oversee a large, busy team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Adept with using computer programs such as Excel, Outlook, or other software as required
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure to specific deadlines
- Confident in training, developing, and mentoring existing and new team members
- Previous experience working in line with agreed service levels
- Demonstrated experience in improving team morale, productivity, and work quality
