Job brief

We are looking for a creative and skilled Art Director to lead the art and design teams. The Art Director will meet with clients to identify their needs and then establish timelines for the company to complete the finished product and then present them to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new projects.
  • Collaborating with the art team to assess the client or company’s needs.
  • Craft strategies, ad campaigns, and visual elements to meet the needs and requirements of each project.
  • Perform market research to develop a deeper understanding of brand objectives, industry trends, and target markets.
  • Communicate with clients or companies, provide goals and progress updates, receive feedback, and present the final campaign.
  • Planning the organization and assignment of resources within the team to develop a strong and efficient campaign.
  • Set timelines and budgets, and deliver the campaign within deadline and budget.
  • Look for ways to improve the team’s efficiency and processes.
  • Solve design, process, or staff issues that may arise.
  • Hiring and training team members.
  • Ensure all facets of campaigns meet the needs of the clients or company.
  • Help fulfill short and long-term goals that support the vision of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in graphic design, marketing, or relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience working with graphic design
  • Proficient in design programs such as Inkscape or Photoshop
  • Creative mindset
  • High level of motivation
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate across levels of an organization
  • Talent for providing effective feedback and direction
