We are seeking a detail-focused, dependable and professional Airport Operations Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and well-rounded overall operational knowledge. The focus of the role will be to provide detailed and error-free data analysis to the airport or airline on a variety of different topics such as flights leaving on time the ratio of being late, how profitable the airport is, and more.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with all airport departments to provide accurate and error-free data on the operational viability of the operations at the airport.
- Develop innovative solutions to maximize passenger numbers and reduce lost baggage.
- Analyze information regarding check-in times, security queues, and delays, and develop solutions on how to improve all aspects of the customer journey.
- Monitor and analyze spending trends and adjust the forecasts and budgets to accommodate this.
- Provide financial analysis and provide justification of expenditure.
- Collaborate with airport leaders to understand full financial forecasts.
- Develop and implement an annual operating budget.
- Ensure any changes are sustainable by liaising with all staff across the airport and especially management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations-based role
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong relationship building skills
- Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize own workload
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated computer skills with a good knowledge of databases and extracting information.
- Confident in providing accurate reports when required
- Excellent math skills
