We are looking for a reliable and efficient Administrative Services Manager to oversee and coordinate the administrative and supportive functions of our organization. As an administrative services manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our office operates smoothly and effectively. You will also be in charge of managing the budget, policies, staff, and facilities of our organization. You will play a key role in supporting the work environment and culture of our organization and ensuring that we comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of various administrative and supportive services, such as recordkeeping, mail distribution, office upkeep, and supply allocation.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of administrative staff and volunteers who provide clerical and technical assistance to the organization.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational regulations, standards, and policies.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on the outcomes and efficiency of administrative and supportive services.
- Identify problems and implement solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of administrative and supportive services.
- Manage the budget and financial resources of the organization or department.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance of physical facilities and equipment.
- Hire, onboard, or terminate personnel in administrative positions as needed.
- Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to administrative staff and volunteers and foster a positive work environment and culture.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field of study
- At least 3 years of experience in administrative or managerial roles
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of administrative and supportive services best practices
- Ability to work with diverse populations and cultures
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other software relevant to the job requirements
