Email subject line: Working From Home Tips
Hi everyone,
Thank you all for your continued support, dedication, and for adjusting to this new way of working so quickly.
Working remotely has as we have all discovered its challenges and opportunities, and we hope you are making the most of the opportunities and seeking assistance when faced with challenges.
We will continue our efforts in supporting your transition to this new way of work. As such I wanted to share a few tips that I hope will help you as you transition to remote work.
Stay connected:
We have set up several online social events throughout the year to encourage you all to keep connected and not lose touch with your colleagues. We all have team meetings we attend to, and we keep in touch with our immediate team members, but it is also important that you keep in touch with others in the company. This is why we will continue to deliver our social events digitally. We encourage you to come along to these events and as always, we are open to new ideas and suggestions.
Set up a schedule and stick to it:
Working from home does not mean you don’t need a daily routine/structure, in fact, it is even more important now than before. Make sure to stick to your regular working hours, go for a walk when you can, make time for family, and plan your day/week.
Make use of available resources/software:
We have plenty of resources available for you from stationery to apps and software packages and we encourage you to use these. We also welcome any ideas and suggestions you may have, and we will do our very best to implement them.
Take regular breaks:
Do not forget to take breaks, and if you feel you require a bit of help sticking to these, there are plenty of apps available to remind you to take breaks. You can also set up an online coffee catch-up with your team to catch up on life outside of work. It is also VERY important that you take your lunch breaks as you would normally.
I hope these help you make the most of working remotely and we will continue sharing tips, ideas, and suggestions.
I also encourage you to share ideas with each other and most importantly to keep in touch and reach out if you need help.
Have a great week ahead!
Best regards,
