Video interviews help reduce time to hire, save travel costs, and are an efficient way for hiring managers to compare candidates quickly. They are also beneficial during times of quarantine, or when a desirable candidate is working overseas or is unable to physically come to the office. Check out our recommendations for video interview software here.
Send this email as soon as your company has decided to call a candidate in for an interview after reviewing their application and credentials. Specifically, this template will be ideal if your company has a video interview-first strategy, before inviting them for a physical interview later on.
Make sure to include the position they have applied for, the name and position of the person they will have an interview with, a few different time and day options (make sure to consider their time zone), and any pertinent links, like video interview links if they can already be generated at this stage.
Please keep in mind that this is a template. You may change it to suit your company's voice and tone.
