Rejection emails often have a negative connotation to them. As a recruiter, you should see this as an opportunity to build future relationships rather than end them. This is because the candidate's experience does not end when you don’t hire them. Candidates who were not selected for the open position may potentially be a good fit for another existing or future position.
You can send a rejection email either after receiving the candidate’s resume or after their interview. Our template below is a standard rejection email template that can be used for both situations.
