1. Eligibility

a. Only employees who have received prior approval from their supervisor or human resources are allowed to bring pets to the workplace.

2. Pet Behavior:

a. Pets must be well-behaved, non-aggressive, and properly trained.

c. Supervision: Pets must be under the direct supervision of their owners at all times. Owners should ensure their pets are not left unattended or allowed to roam freely in the workplace.

d. Feeding and Waste Disposal: Employees must provide appropriate food and water for their pets. Waste must be disposed of responsibly in designated areas, following proper sanitation measures.

e. Liability: Employees will be held liable for any damages caused by their pets to company property or injury to other employees or visitors.

4. Consideration for Others:

a. All employees must respect the personal space and potential allergies or fear of pets that some individuals may have.

b. Permission to interact with a pet should be sought from its owner before doing so. If a pet is displaying signs of stress or discomfort, interactions should be avoided.

5. Pet Exclusion Zones:

a. Certain areas within the workplace may be designated as pet-free zones, such as food preparation areas, conference rooms, or areas that contain sensitive equipment. Employees are required to adhere to these restrictions.

b. Employees who do not wish to be near pets may request a designated pet-free workspace, subject to reasonable accommodations.

6. Contingency Plans:

a. In the event of an emergency evacuation or other situations where pets cannot be safely accommodated, employees must have a contingency plan in place. This may involve arrangements for a responsible individual to collect and care for the pet during such circumstances.

7. Pet Agreement:
