This policy applies to all employees of the company who are eligible to participate in the matching charitable gifts program. It outlines the process for submitting donation matching requests, the criteria for eligible charitable organizations, and the maximum limit for matching donations.

Matching Charitable Gifts Policy Elements

1. Eligibility:

  • All full-time employees who have been with the company for at least six months are eligible to participate in the matching charitable gifts program.
  • Donations made to eligible charitable organizations will be considered for matching funds.

2. Matching Ratio:

  • The company will match employee donations on a 1:1 ratio up to a maximum limit of $500 per employee per calendar year.

3. Eligible Charitable Organizations:

4. Matching Process:

  • Employees must submit donation matching requests through the company’s online platform within 60 days of making the donation.
  • Employees must provide proof of donation (receipt or confirmation) along with the matching request.
  • Matching requests will be reviewed and approved by the HR department within 14 days of submission.

5. Payment Process:

  • Matching funds will be disbursed to the eligible charitable organizations directly by the company within 30 days of approval.
  • Employees will receive confirmation of the matching donation via email.

6. Reporting:

  • The company will provide regular reports to employees on the total donations matched through the program and the impact of these donations.
