b. Employees must not report to work under the influence of alcohol or impaired by alcohol consumption.

3) Drug Testing

a. Employees may be subject to drug testing, including pre-employment screening, random testing, post-accident testing, and reasonable suspicion testing.

b. Refusal to consent to drug testing or testing positive for prohibited substances may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

4) Assistance and Support

a. The company recognizes that substance abuse is a treatable condition and encourages employees to seek help if they are struggling with addiction.

b. Employees who have substance abuse problems may request assistance from the company, including referral to counseling services or support groups.

5) Consequences of Violations

a. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

b. Legal consequences may also apply, depending on the nature of the violation and applicable laws.

6) Confidentiality

a. All information relating to drug and alcohol testing, treatment, or support services will be treated confidentially to the extent permitted by law.

b. Disclosure of such information without consent may result in disciplinary action.

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
